Our Story
Rest is essential for success. You need rest to renew your body and spirit, to find new sources of energy, and to discover a path to your goals.
The best thing you can do for yourself is to turn inward and enjoy what life has to offer.
We are expecting you with open arms and hearts. We believe that the time you spend at the foot of Krvavec, in the village of Grad (Castle), will be royal. That’s why we call it Royal Repose.
We know very well how hard it is to escape the daily routine. We have four boys and each other – trust us, we know what it means to want some rest and a respite.
We built our studio Tulip and two cabins, Daisy and Lilly, thinking of those whose daily responsibilities are relentless and those who long for some time to yourselves. The cabins offer comfort for two, and the studio is an oasis for two but can sleep 4 (2+2). Each dwelling has its own bathroom. They are a wonderful base for adventures in the surrounding area.
We are right next to the popular ski resort Krvavec. With its many hiking trails, mountain biking paths, and the Adventure Park, Krvavec has much to offer in the summer as well. Besides, we are close to the capital of Ljubljana (30 km) and the jewel of Gorenjska, Bled (37 km). The Ljubljana Airport is within a stone’s throw (6km).
